Toronto Hydro

Electrical power consumed in your unit is billed directly from Toronto Hydro to you. This type of sub-metering system is installed in the electrical closets in the hallways. Toronto Hydro will establish each condominium unit owner as a Toronto Hydro customer, a residential rate account holder and will provide all meter readings and billing activities. The meters are Toronto Hydro’s property.

The power consumption of the common elements (hallways, amenities, etc.) is billed to the Corporation and funded by your common element fees.

It is very important that the hydro account of your unit is set up before your scheduled occupancy date.

Attached in this package, Appendix A - Toronto Hydro, you will find New Customer Information Forms and the Preauthorized Payment application forms. Please fill out all the required documentation. You may also setup your account online at the following internet address: https://www.torontohydro.com/start-stop-move-account

Once the completed documentation has been sent to Toronto Hydro, you must send a copy to your lawyer.
